Year 2 Daily Dictation Why we love Daily Dictation! This resource is designed to supplement your spelling scheme and support dyslexic learners. Daily Dictation is great for children who need more repetition than others to learn how to spell common exception words. Some children who have dyslexia need to see and spell words a lot more times than a child who does not have dyslexia. This is great classroom practice to include all children. Daily Dictation builds children’s confidence in writing different types of sentences, incorporating exclamation, statements and questions. Children have the opportunity to practise a variety of capital letters. Children have a chance to repeat the words they have previously written incorrectly. Dictation helps children apply their spelling outside spelling tests.
