This is a proposal for how the back office could work. It is not connected to live data.
Catalogue figures are measured from a harvest of the live site. People, orders and campaigns are invented.
You are browsing as a signed-out visitor, so nothing on these screens will save. Publishing, generating and importing are all refused.

Sunday 2 Aug 2026. Everything here is up to date as of this morning.

Make something
Everything you sell starts on one of these screens. Whichever you pick, you type what is on it and the site makes the rest: the files, the answer copy, the cover, the product page and the entry in the planner. You see all of it before anything goes live.
A week of teaching
A module
A White Rose small step. Planning, slides and worksheets, every one of them at all three levels, filed against your year, your term and your week.

Type what goes on it and the answer copy, the cover and the product page all come with it. Every kind it makes is listed underneath.

A run of pages stapled together: a page saying what is inside, the activities, and the answers at the back.

Spelling lesson for the board
A whole lesson taught off the board: the pictures, then the sound, then the rule, with the class answering before you press the arrow.

Working without worksheets
Your other line. What to say, what to hold up and what to ask, for the lessons where nothing gets printed at all.

The cover and the inside. Guidance, contents, the words to learn, then the pairs: a page of questions and, facing it, the page for explaining them. Printed at your own book size, not A4.

Your 1,033 free resources now collect an address and a year group
A teacher who presses download gets one panel on the same page: email address, the year group they teach, and a password they can skip. The file arrives there and then, the free account is made behind it, and the year group and the strand of whatever they took are recorded with them. Nobody is sent to a pricing page.
94 people gave you their address this week on the back of work you were already giving away, and 57 of them, 61 in a hundred, ticked the box for the Friday email as well. The tick is off until they tick it, which is both the law and the reason the list is worth having.
What this looked like before
To take a free resource a teacher had to create a full account with a username and a password, on a separate page. The download plugin, som-free-downloads-woocommerce-pro, had its email capture option switched off, so not one of those addresses reached your list. The notice offering a free membership linked to your pricing page, where the word free does not appear at all. The registration notice also rendered twice on the same page, and only 46 of the free resources were linked from your free samples page.

Things you could fix
Counted across all 6,558 of your resources. Each button starts that job on exactly those items, and nothing changes until you approve it.
| How many | What it is | Why it matters | What you can do |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1,102 | Resources with nothing written under them | 17% of everything you sell. A teacher cannot tell what is inside, and Google has nothing to show. | |
| 2,411 | Resources sharing a name with another | 566 names are used more than once, so your own search shows the same thing several times. | |
| 2,988 | Descriptions under forty words | Usually the same sentence repeated. Quick to improve, and it is the text that sells the resource. | |
| 82 | Resources with no cover picture | These show as a blank tile wherever they appear. | |
| 100 | Resources not filed under a year group | Nobody browsing Year 4 will ever see these. Only search finds them. |
None of this is your fault. It is what happens when a teaching module has to be entered as a shop product, six files at a time, on a system that has no idea a module is one thing. Each button above does the job it says and nothing else: drafting words is a different job from deciding whether two resources are the same resource, so they are not the same button.

A teacher who took four free downloads in March used to be invisible when the September email went out, because the download happened on your website and the email is sent from MailerLite. The download form now hands the address and the year group across as they take it, so 57of this week’s 94 arrived on the list already tagged.
You keep MailerLite. This gives it better lists, it does not replace it.
