Make early maths learning fun and interactive with our Easter Roll It, Make It, Write It activity, designed primarily for Reception children and also suitable for use in Year 1. This hands-on resource encourages children to develop number recognition, counting skills, and fine motor control through play-based learning. Children roll a six-sided die to generate a number, make that number of Easter eggs using playdough, and then write the corresponding numeral using a whiteboard pen. The wipe-clean format allows children to erase their work and repeat the activity multiple times, supporting repetition and mastery in an engaging way. Ideal for maths lessons, small group work, or continuous provision, this Easter-themed activity combines fun, creativity, and learning, making it a perfect seasonal resource for early years classrooms.

The maths is right and the sequence is sensible. Several of my children needed it enlarged to A3, which is easy enough but worth knowing before you print thirty.
