Challenge and engage your Year 4 pupils with this Easter-themed Year 4 Word Problems activity, designed as an interactive Easter Egg Hunt. This resource includes 14 carefully written word problems that support key Year 4 mathematics objectives, focusing on addition and subtraction within 1,000 and multiplication and division using all 12 times tables. The problems encourage pupils to apply their calculation skills in meaningful, real-life contexts while developing confidence in mathematical reasoning. Each word problem is formatted for printing on A4 address label stickers, making it easy for teachers to create an active and engaging Easter-themed learning experience. Problems can be placed around the classroom or school to create a maths hunt, or used as individual stickers for desk-based or workbook activities. This flexible approach supports a range of learning styles and helps keep pupils motivated and focused. Through solving one problem per sticker, pupils are encouraged to read carefully, identify key information, and select the most appropriate operation or combination of operations. This resource supports the use of formal written methods, mental strategies, and secure multiplication and division facts. With minimal preparation required, this ready-to-use activity is ideal for Easter lessons, revision, or enrichment work in Year 4 classrooms.
Show lessThe standard small step pack, as her own modules ship it. We do not print page counts here, because her catalogue does not publish them and a guessed number is worse than none.
Her own system, with the star count repeated in every worksheet header so a child can be handed the right sheet without a word.

“Good value, and the answers are actually on it.”
Small thing, but half the free sheets online expect you to work the answers out yourself. My TA can run a group on this without a briefing first.

“Fine, though the font is small for my class.”
The maths is right and the sequence is sensible. Several of my children needed it enlarged to A3, which is easy enough but worth knowing before you print thirty.
