This Year 4 maths activity for NSPCC Number Day helps children practise addition, subtraction, multiplication and division through an engaging “number robot” challenge. Children investigate how Tia’s robot transforms numbers and work out the hidden rule, developing arithmetic fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills. The resource also includes a create-your-own number robot task , where children design challenges for a friend, encouraging creativity and mathematical communication. Perfect for Year 4 classrooms , this activity makes NSPCC Number Day fun while reinforcing essential maths skills.

The maths is right and the sequence is sensible. Several of my children needed it enlarged to A3, which is easy enough but worth knowing before you print thirty.

No editing, no reformatting, no hunting for the answers. The three levels are on separate pages, which sounds obvious until you have used the sites where they are not.
