About this resource

This Year 4 Maths Assessment and Curriculum Questions Resource is a comprehensive and engaging pack designed to support teaching, learning and assessment across the full Year 4 mathematics curriculum , in line with the UK National Curriculum . It is ideal for whole-class teaching, guided group work, targeted interventions, revision activities or end-of-unit and end-of-year assessment. The resource covers all key Year 4 maths learning objectives , starting with number and place value, including reading, writing and comparing numbers up to 10,000, counting in multiples, rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1,000, and understanding negative numbers in context. Pupils develop fluency in addition and subtraction using numbers with up to four digits, applying efficient mental strategies and formal written methods, and using estimation and inverse operations to check accuracy. A strong focus is placed on multiplication and division , including recalling and using all times tables up to 12 × 12 , understanding factor pairs, using efficient written methods, and solving increasingly complex one-step and two-step word problems involving scaling and correspondence. The resource also provides thorough coverage of fractions and decimals , including recognising and comparing fractions, finding equivalent fractions, adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator, and understanding decimal notation for tenths and hundredths. Pupils practise relating fractions to decimals and percentages, and applying this understanding to problem-solving contexts. Measurement objectives are fully addressed, including length, mass, capacity, perimeter, area and time , with opportunities to convert between units and solve real-life problems. Additional content includes geometry (identifying properties of 2D and 3D shapes, classifying angles, understanding symmetry, and working with coordinates), as well as position and direction . The statistics strand includes interpreting and presRead more

The standard small step pack, as her own modules ship it. We do not print page counts here, because her catalogue does not publish them and a guessed number is worse than none.
