Count in multiples of 2s, 5s and 10s

Year 1Number & Place Value10 resources teach this

What this means, in plain words

A multiple of a number is what you get when you multiply it by a whole number, so 12 is a multiple of 3.

Counting here means saying the number names in order, forwards or backwards, and in steps larger than one.

Multiplication is repeated addition of equal groups. Division shares a total into equal groups, or works out how many groups fit.

Tagged to Year 1 and Year 2 in number & place value. 10 resources in the library teach it.
