Multiplication & Division
Y4Recall and Use Table Facts up to 12 x 12

Proposed versionTrusted by primary teachers across the UK · New resources every week
What this means, in plain words
A multiple of a number is what you get when you multiply it by a whole number, so 12 is a multiple of 3.
Times table facts are recalled from memory rather than counted out, which frees a child up to think about the problem itself.
Multiplication is repeated addition of equal groups. Division shares a total into equal groups, or works out how many groups fit.
Tagged to Year 4 in multiplication & division. 7 resources in the library teach it.
Every one differentiated three ways, editable in PowerPoint.
