Place value is the idea that a digit is worth a different amount depending on where it sits: the 4 in 40 is worth ten times the 4 in 4.

Roman numerals write numbers with letters: I, V, X, L, C, D and M.

Time work covers reading a clock, using am and pm or the 24-hour clock, and converting between seconds, minutes and hours.
