Make counting spooktacular with this Halloween Count to 10 activity! Perfect for EYFS and early primary learners, this fun, themed maths resource helps children practise counting, number recognition, and writing numerals — all within a Halloween context. Pupils count a variety of Halloween-themed objects (such as pumpkins, bats, ghosts, and spiders) and record how many of each they see. Aligned with Development Matters and Birth to 5 Matters , this activity supports children in developing one-to-one correspondence, the cardinal principle , and linking quantities to numerals up to 10. Suitable for both Nursery (Range 5) and Reception (Range 6), it’s ideal for classroom maths corners, seasonal learning, or home practice. Simply print and use as a worksheet or laminate for repeated use with dry-wipe pens.
Show lessThe standard small step pack, as her own modules ship it. We do not print page counts here, because her catalogue does not publish them and a guessed number is worse than none.
Her own system, with the star count repeated in every worksheet header so a child can be handed the right sheet without a word.
