What this page is for

It is your list of what to make next. The National Curriculum is a fixed set of objectives, and every one of them either has a resource behind it on your site or it does not. This page walks all of them, year by year, and tells you which ones are empty.

Nobody but you sees this. It is not linked from the website and it never should be: it names the gaps, and a school deciding whether to subscribe does not need a list of what is missing.

This one is about us, not you. Only these products say which objective they teach, so the other 5,568 cannot be counted above. Every product we redraft gains its objective, so this number climbs on its own and the three above it get more accurate as it does.

Coverage by strand and year group

What does the percentage mean?

It is not a share of resources. It is a share of teaching weeks that are fully supplied.

Every week of the scheme needs the same seven files to be ready to teach it:

So a strand that runs for 5 weeks needs 35 files. If the library can supply 30 of them, that cell reads 86 per cent. A cell is only 100 per cent when every week of that strand has all seven.

Counting resources instead would read 94 per cent almost everywhere and tell you nothing. Counting weeks shows where a teacher would actually be left short.

Each cell is the share of the seven weekly pieces the library can supply across that strand’s teaching weeks, with the number of distinct resources matched and the number of weeks the strand runs for. Across the whole scheme that is 1,516 of 2,016 pieces, 75%.

Coverage is measured in teaching weeks, not in products.

The denominator is her own published schemes of learning: every teaching week of the newest scheme version for each year group. Seven of the eight are White Rose. The eighth is her own nursery scheme. A week needs seven pieces, the same seven the weekly bundle assembles, so each week is scored out of seven rather than out of one.

A piece counts as supplied when a resource is matched to that week either because she named it for that week, or because the product name carries the block title from the scheme. Matching on strand and year group alone is not counted here, because something in Year 5 measurement is not evidence that week 6 is resourced.

This reads product names, not the inside of her files. Her packs do contain a planning sheet, but the product names almost never say so, which is why planning shows as the biggest gap. That is a catalogue problem rather than a teaching one, and backend access is what settles it.

Nursery is counted here even though it scores zero, because she sells it. Leaving a year group out of the denominator because it is empty would flatter every other number on this page. Its weeks are listed on their own rather than mixed into the gap list, so one finding stays one finding.

Her Early Years (Nursery and Reception) subscription is £7 a month or £55 a year, so nursery is being paid for today. Her own Nursery Maths Curriculum runs 36 weeks, and this report can match a resource to 1 of them.

Those 36 weeks are inside every total above, which is why the headline reads 75% rather than the 86% it would read across the other seven year groups alone. Both numbers are true; only one of them counts a year group she is charging for.

This is the single largest thing on the page that can be fixed with files she already has. The scheme is written, the weeks are named, and the year group is built here and waiting for them.

The gaps, named

Nothing below is an estimate. Each item is a specific week, a specific kind of file or a specific objective, taken straight from her own scheme and her own product names.

Of the 252teaching weeks outside nursery. Not one resource could be tied to the block being taught. Nursery’s 35 are counted in every total on this page and listed on their own above, because they are one finding rather than 35.

Two patterns, and both are fixable without making a single new resource. Her Early Years product names never carry the White Rose block titles, so “It’s me 1,2,3” and “1,2,3,4,5” match nothing at all. And every consolidation week in the scheme, including the five Year 6 summer projects, has no product named for it.

Planning is the headline number and it is a naming problem, not a teaching one. Her own modules ship a planning sheet in every pack, but the product name almost never says “planning”, so a teacher searching for it finds nothing and this report cannot see it. Putting the pack contents in the product data fixes the number and the search results in the same move.

The topic is there, the choice is not. A teacher who has already used it has nowhere else to go.

120 objectives carry a single resource. The 18 left off this list are one-word category names, or the two page headings that were typed into the objectives box in WooCommerce by mistake. Those are worth a tidy-up in their own right.
